Fallen Heroes of October 2008

October 19, 2009 17:00 by admin

In October of last year, the United States lost some of our bravest heroes to the war on terror. Men and women who volunteered to serve and, in these cases, make the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. You might not recognize the faces or even the names. You may not know their life stories, their likes, or even their dislikes. What you can be sure of is they were brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, aunts, and uncles of our fellow citizens. And more importantly, they were brave and strong in their desire to serve their country ... our country!

You may never know much about these Heroes ... but ... I believe every single one of them would volunteer again even if they knew their ultimate fate. Why? Because inside the heart of each of these brave men and women is a patriot bent on defending the line of freedom to prevent anyone from harming a single one of us.

They are Heroes! They deserve to be remembered! They deserve to be honored!

Thank you for your sacrifice! God bless America!

Remember Me

September 14, 2009 15:49 by admin

From 17 year old Lizzie Palmer who's YouTube site has the following statement:

"I'm a senior in high school, and I play the flute/piccolo. I plan on joining the U.S. Army after I graduate. I only hope I can make America as proud as our troops today have, and I hope I can honor them in the way they deserve with my videos. Hope you all have a great day and God bless! SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!"

Here is her video and tribute called "Remember Me" ...

This author is proud of the video she posted to help us all remember our loved ones, our heroes every day!

Thank you Lizzie for the reminder ... thank you!
